We have developed this course to give you the opportunity to create something new, unique for yourself or something to give to a loved one or a close friend. Pottery is a handmade craft that is highly valued!
During the classes you will be able to create your own unique works of art. The course is designed for 10 practical classes and at least 10 finished products!
The program is developed individually for everyone, taking into account your abilities and wishes!
All the necessary materials and equipment are provided by our workshop!
The course consists of the following stages:
- Familiarization with the material.
- The basics of pottery: centering, bottom formation, stretching the walls and forming simple shapes.
- Decor with angobas.
- Basics of carving on raw clay.
- Types of decoration, methods of applying texture and relief.
- Making handles and methods of attaching them.
- Turning the bottom of the product.
- Flat products.
- Creating complex products with double walls.
- Preparing products for firing.
What is the result?
You will get acquainted with the material, types of clay, methods of kneading, and tools. You will learn the basics of working with clay and angobas, as well as how to make both simple and complex interior products. We will provide you with all the necessary knowledge and skills.
Upon completion of the course, you will learn how to make your own products, turning your idea into reality! Upon request, we can fire the products and cover them with glazes.
