The course consists of 8 classes of intensive theory and result-oriented practice! Eight classes – eight finished works! At each lesson, we work on a new work in a new subject and technique. You will love it!
The course consists of the following stages:
- Familiarity with the material, grisaille. Working with tone and volume.
- Still life from nature. Working with color. Warmth and coldness.
- Botanical themes. Wet watercolor.
- Animalistic subjects. Detailing, working with fragments.
- Landscape. Artificial and natural lighting.
- Architecture. Aerial perspective.
- Watercolor sketching. Principles of quick sketching.
- Portrait. Proportions, color choice. Principles of similarity.
What is the result?
At the end of the course, you will work in various watercolor painting techniques and master color. You will learn how to convey the texture of various objects, realistically convey the state of nature. You will create paintings in mixed media, skillfully combining the classical method with modern popular sketch techniques!
After learning all the main subtleties of watercolor painting, you can start creating portrait paintings.
By the end of the course, you will no longer be afraid and will simply enjoy the process. Watercolor is so fascinating that painting turns into a meditation.
